Who we are

Vayora provides practice-management software to immigration consultants and law firms in Canada. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial law.

What we collect

Account information: name, work email, phone, firm name, province and licence number when you sign up.
Billing information: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
Usage information: sign-in times, IP address and actions in the app, kept for security and the audit log.
Messages you send us through the contact form or support.

How we use it

To provide, secure and support the service.
To send account, billing and service messages.
To improve the product, using aggregated information that does not identify you.

We do not sell personal information.

Your clients' data

Information your firm stores about its clients, employers and agents belongs to your firm. We process it only to run the service for you and on your instructions. Your firm remains responsible for obtaining consent from its clients and for its own obligations to them and to its regulator.

We share information only with service providers that help us run the service (for example hosting, email delivery and payment processing), under agreements that require them to protect it, or where the law requires it.

Retention

We keep account information while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. Your firm can export or delete its data, subject to its own retention duties.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and withdraw consent where it applies. If you are a client of a firm that uses Vayora, please contact that firm first, as it controls your file.
